- Don’t drop your towel on the floor or in a hamper when it’s wet?-?When a wet towel sits and festers on the floor, or even worse, in a hamper, it gets that nasty mold and mildew smell. Even after a few washes, that scent is hard to wash out, so I always advise against throwing them on the floor or in a hamper.
- Let your towel air dry 100% -?After you dry off, hang the towel on a towel bar, or even over the shower bar to let it air dry. Make sure it’s 100% dry before you toss it into a hamper.
- Don’t use too much detergent – Using too much detergent can ruin your towels and clothes, not to mention the wear and tear it’ll put on your washing machine.
