In the last year my family has really got into camping. I grew up camping and I thought it would be a great family activity for us to do together. We have done several now and I can honestly say even with two different trips experiencing extremely bad weather that it has been pretty awesome. For camping having the right gear is absolutely critical. It can be the difference between comfort and disaster. Tribe Provisions has the equipment you need to have an awesome outdoor experience.
The most basic necessity for tent camping is of course the tent. All tents are definitely not created equal! The Adventure Tent II is a 2 person adventure tent that is super easy set up and weighs less than 5lbs. It includes tent, rain fly, tent stakes and poles.
They promise that the tent only takes 5 minutes to set up….and they deliver on that promise! I am one that always takes things slow and even I could easily get it up in 5 minutes. You can put the tent up so quickly with the little plastic clips that are so easy to attach.
Inside the tent there are two side pockets and a hook and a ceiling pocket to keep small items out of the way and easy to find.
It comes with the ever important rain fly. Unless the forecast calls for 0% chance of rain I have on my rainfly. Florida weather is unpredictable and rainstorms can come quickly…but they usually don’t last very long.
The rain fly over hang keeps the ground outside the door dry and allows you to keep wet shoes and gear out of the tent. You can see their is also an air vent to keep the air flow moving.
I am 5’11” and my husband is 6’9″ and we both fit in this tent together so it should most definitely fit any normal size set of people. It is a pretty sweet tent and I really love it.
On my camping adventures I have seen several people with hammocks and I was kinda jealous. They always looked so comfy. Now that I have actually used a hammock I can officially say they are incredibly comfy!!!! Relaxation at its finest is in a hammock. Tribe Provisions has the hammock and tree straps you need to achieve this relaxation.
The Adventure Hammock is a single person hammock that comes in several colors. The diamond lock rip-stop nylon comes with a strength rating of 400 lbs.
I highly suggest getting the Tree Straps if you get the hammock. They are a pair of 10 feet long straps with 36 loops. This makes setting up the hammock super easy. No need to keep untying your rope to get the right level. Just clip to a new loop to adjust. It supports up to 200lbs a strap.
I am Girl Scout leader and I will be using the tent while my girls all sleep together in another tent. It will also be the tent my husband and I use when we are able to get away alone. The attention to detail Tribe Provisions puts into their products is evident because there is nothing I would improve in any of their products and designs. They even think of the little things I might not have thought of. I love taking my girls outdoors and showing them what nature can offer and Tribe Provisions has the gear we want so we can enjoy the outdoors in comfort!
