The most remarkable thing to remember while watching this movie is that it is based off a true story and is currently marked as one of the most dramatic small boat rescues to date. Even though the boat was only designed to take on 12 people, Bernie (the main character) manages to rescue 32 crewmen…absolutely amazing! This movie is a great reminder about the Coast Guard Branch of the military that is often forgot. Make sure to check out all the bonus features on this DVD so you can get a better look into the true story and the people invovled. I am not normally scared of the ocean but I just can not even imagine going out into rough waters like the 4 heroes in this film did. A fantastic drama that will leave you in awe of the true heroes behind it all.
