Reading is fundamental and a very important part of a child’s development. Learning to read is also such an exciting experience for both parents and children. While there are many tools to help your child with reading, I’m especially drawn to?Wonster Words, a new app that helps kids with reading, throughphonics and spelling.
Wonster Words is a new and fun way to teach kids to read by’sounding out words with phonics, using ghost letters to put the words together. Kids will learn to sound out, spell and read new words in no time with the help of this app. They’ll learn common phonemes and word families, yet will also have access to fun mini games that can help them even more.
Silly animations help to demonstrate the word’s meaning, to better help children learn through a visual. This is a great way to help kids understand and remember a new word that they just learned.
There are many words that come with the free version of the app, as well as daily words that your child can learn. There is also an option for parents to complete in-app purchases of new words.
My favorite part of Wonster Words is that kids can learn at their own pace, free of scores, limits and stress. I think Wonster Words is a wonderful tool in helping kids to learn and many of my friends are now using it with their children.
