Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite times for making treats so I’ve been mighty busy in the kitchen lately. I’ve been spoiling my family with deliciousness and I thought you might like to as well so I’ll be sharing all of my tasty concoctions right here with all of you! Today’s special feature is Sweet & Salty Valentine Hearts.
I’m quite a stickler to white chocolate and it’s definitely my favorite of the chocolate varieties so I thought these?Sweet & Salty Valentine Hearts would be perfect to share with you. They’re super easy to make and taste great – a perfect combination of sweet and salty.
Sweet & Salty Valentine Hearts
Ingredients:
6 ounces white chocolate bark
2 cups pretzel sticks
1 cup chocolate covered candies (like M&Ms)
Instructions:
Break pretzels sticks into small pieces. Melt chocolate bark in microwave. I usually do this in 45 second increments, stir, and return to the microwave until completely melted. The process usually takes about 1 1/2 minutes. Immediately stir in pretzel sticks and M&Ms. Spoon the mixture into mini heart shaped silicone cups. Make sure mixture is spread evenly and completely filled to the top. Place in freezer for 10 to 15 minutes until firm. Remove from cups. The recipe makes 12 chocolate hearts.
See, now that sure sounds easy, right? There’s not even any baking required so this is a perfect treat for those who aren’t so great in the kitchen. Just melt some chocolate and stir in some ingredients for a perfectly delicious Valentine’s treat.
