Have you heard about The Teenage Brain? It’s by Frances Jenson and Amy Nutt and is about the beautiful and not so beautiful aspects of raising a teenager, focusing specifically on the adolescent brain. It’s a fantastic psychology book for parents who are in the midst of or about to face raise teenagers today.
There is a nice excerpt from the book on the Barnes & Noble website. You can click the image above to read the excerpt or click here to check it out. Happy reading!
I for one, could seriously stand to read this book. I’ve been dealing with teens since my siblings came to live with us 4.5 years ago but now that my own boys are teens, it’s a whole new ball game. Add to the fact that they’re boys, I feel unprepared and often lost at times! Grab a copy for yourself and anyone else who parents teens., Maybe we can finally get to the bottom of things and understand them!
