As a young girl I LOVED my Berenstain Bears book collection. Those 8×8 glossy books were an all time favorite of mine and I had quite the collection…I only wish I had kept them all these years. Thankfully new books continue to come out and now my girls can read all about the Bear Family and enjoy them too. Stan and Jan Berenstain began writing the series in 1962 and now their son, Mike, continues the legacy by writing and illustrating new titles.

Come along with Brother and Sister Bear as their friend Professor Actual Factual takes them on a Bear Country job tour. From firefighter to artist and farmer to astronaut?there are so many careers to explore!
The Berenstain Bears: When I Grow Up starts out with Career Day at school where all the Bears learn about different careers out there. Afterwards Sister Bear is still unsure what she wants to be when she grows up. Luckily they run into Professor Actual Factual that takes them on a tour of Bear Country while pointing out all the great career choices out there. Sister Bear still has plenty of time to decide but it is nice to see some examples. The new books are just as endearing as the old ones and I love seeing all the new adventures the Bear Family goes on.
Look out, evildoers. Bat Bear, Spider Bear, and their sidekick, Cubby Bear, are here to foil your wicked plots!
When the Berenstain siblings pretend to be SuperBears, everyone in Bear Country joins in the game. With the help of their imaginations and friendly neighbors, they can defeat villain after villain. But when Brother and Sister get the chance to help their neighbor, they become true heroes!
Beginning readers will revel in the kindhearted adventures of their favorite family of bears.
The Berenstain Bears Are Superbears! is part of the I Can Read! series for beginning readers. This Level 1 is perfect for my 1st grader. Those bears use their imagination to go on a superhero adventure catching villains and helping others. The words are in large print for easy reading and the illustrations are what I have come to expect from Berenstain Bears books. These two books are great additions to any bookshelf.
