We are all about grilling up some goodness in the summertime. Since we only get to bust out our grill for about half the year, we definitely take advantage of the tastiness that we can cook on it; not to mention, we don’t have to heat up the house with the oven! But sometimes I still like to keep things simple, so I occasionally grab pre-made things to speed up the process.
For instance, we grilled some Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs?on the grill last week and it was so warm and humid?out that I just didn’t feel like making side dishes to go with the meal. So instead of slaving in the kitchen for hours, I grabbed some hot wings from the deli, poured some Kraft Ranch Dressing?for dipping and filled a fun bowl with tortilla chips and fresh Walmart Marketside Salsa. Hot dogs take little time to cook so we had a full meal in under 10 minutes – score 1 for mom!
The entire meal was easy, from start to finish. I was even able to pick everything up all in one shot at Walmart, while I was shopping for summer toys for this weekend’s camping trip!
While hubby was cooking the dogs and Lil Man was heating the wings, I made the lemonade. We needed a refreshing and delicious beverage after all! Since I saved so much time on everything else, I decided to make the lemonade extra special for this meal. I mixed up some Country Time Lemonade, sliced some lemons and added those along with fresh raspberries into the lemonade. For those of us who really needed a refreshing drink, Raspberry Lemonade Slushies were on the menu. It’s super easy to make and I’ll teach you how, below!
