I am proud to work with 3M for this feature on Nexcare? Brand. Opinions expressed are of my own.
With summer travel season at its peak right now, families across the globe are hopping in their vehicles and heading out of town on road trips. They’ve packed their bags full of clothing and maybe even grabbed some pillows and blankets. But one thing that is often forgotten when heading out on the open road is a first aid kit.
Injuries are always an afterthought, but having a first aid kit on your road trip is a great idea. In fact, keeping a first aid kit in your car all the time is an even better idea. You just never know when a headache will hit you or when a minor cut will happen. I put together a Simple Road Trip First Aid Kit with things that I already had inside my house just to share with you!
Simple Road Trip First Aid Kit
Supplies:
- Small plastic school supply box
- Pill container, small enough to fit into the box
- Exam gloves
- Nexcare? Waterproof Bandages – 3 sizes come in the box!
- Gauze pads
- Hand wipes
- Cotton swabs
- Rolled Gauze
- Antibiotic ointment
- Cough drops
- Aspirin
- Ibuprofen
- Cold & Sinus pills
You’ll start by squeezing the antibiotic ointment into one of the spaces in the pill container. Next, add the cough drops, aspirin, ibuprofen and cold & sinus pills. You’ll notice there are two spaces left so you can use those for whatever else you might need. I suffer from allergies so the two other things that make sense for me are allergy pills and pain relief pills. If you have small children, children’s or baby aspirin would be ideal to include in your kit as well.
Including Nexcare? Waterproof Bandages in your first aid kit means you?ll always be prepared for any cuts or scrapes while on the road. The bandages offer superior protection against water, dirt and germs and provide a 360 degree seal to help prevent against infection.
Now it’s time to fill your kit up! Place the pill container in the kit first, then arrange the other items around it so that everything fits neatly. Stick it in your trunk or glove box and you’ll always be prepared when on the road!
