EasyFinder uses Bluetooth technology to create a two-way communication system from your smartphone to the battery. Using the free EasyFinder app, you can see the location and/or set off an alert on up to 10 devices at a time, never losing your battery-operated devices again. Every EasyFinder battery comes with a button to locate your smartphone, so with the push of a button on the EasyFinder, it sends an alert to your smartphone, even if the phone is on silent.

Our children all have that one toy (or a few toys) that just drives us crazy. My son had Puppy toy that sang songs and made different sounds. Oftentimes he would turn it on and after playing for a minute would find something else to do. The toy would turn off eventually, but often times I’d get up and find it first to turn it off so I wouldn’t have to listen to it any longer. Thankfully, parents will soon be able to turn off their child’s toys as well as find lost toys and other battery operated items like phones and remotes through their smartwatch, smartphone, or tablet with the EasyFinder.
The EasyFinder comes in AA and AAA sizes, with more sizes to be added, and can be recharged in any standard battery charger. Depending on the usage, it lasts about 4-12 months and can be re-charged up to 1000 times. It works through Bluetooth connectivity and tracks items with a radar screen. There’s a sounded alarm that will go off so you can locate the item and it works 2-ways so you can find your phone as well, even if it’s on silent.
The EasyFinder plans to ship in November 2015 and will have a free Apple iOS and Android compatible app.
Right now there’s an IndieGoGo campaign for the EasyFinder. With only 3 days left to back this project up, they’ve reached their initial goal of $30,000, but by supporting them further they have the potential to reach higher goals that would allow them to include the cool on/off feature (a must for parents of children with loud and noisy toys), timer and battery level indicators, and a USB chargeable port built into each EasyFinder.
I can’t tell you how many times I wish I’ve had this product. I lose my phone at least once a day and have to send a friend a message from my computer to call my cellphone and pray that it’s not on silent. Some of the other cool features like being able to turn off toys or even putting the EasyFinder in some of my son’s favorite toys to find if they ever get lost make my life as a parent a lot easier.
I plan to back this campaign as I cannot wait to have the EasyFinder in my home. No more looking for lost phones, remotes, or even toys. This is truly one of those innovative, cool products that makes me wonder how has it never been thought of before. Be sure to support this campaign today and be one of the first ones to use the EasyFinder.
