The entire Bear family heads to the hospital to see cousin Fred after his surgery to remove tonsils and they are treated to a tour of the hospital by the Doctor. They get to see all the areas that are used to help people get well, even the helicopters that bring patients in an emergency. A great book to introduce young children to hospitals and to remind them that even if they seem scary hospitals are there to help people get well and a lot of people work together to make that happen.
