Today, I must confess something to the world. I’ve seen the hype, I’ve heard the buzz, but I never stepped foot into a juice bar before now. Honestly, I didn’t think that I was missing anything. My thought was “I can just drink juice at home”. Oh boy, was I wrong; completely wrong! No juice from my refrigerator would ever compare to the tasty treat that I was in store for!
My friend and I are both currently working on the same project, so we met this Saturday and did lunch after our work was complete. The restaurant was near?Jamba Juice, and once she heard that I was headed there after lunch, she was all on board because it’s one of her favorite places. So the two of us stopped in after lunch to get our “fix”. She ordered her favorite concoction and I opted for the Tropical Kick-Start – a blend of freshly orange juice, mangos and ice. Since this was my first juice bar experience, I wanted to stay on the safe side.
I found the Tropical Kick-Start to be incredibly delicious. From the first sip, my taste buds were taken over by this wonderful concoction of?Fresh Squeezed Juices?and fruits. I couldn’t put it down. I sipped and sipped, until I was to the bottom and my straw was making those silly slurping sounds as I got every last drip out of that clear plastic cup. It was amazing and it took only that one cup to hook me on this new craze. Jamba Juice said “We took the American breakfast staple on a trip to the tropics. The result? A juice blend that will take your taste buds on vacation.” and they were so right! The Tropical Kick-Start did taste like it came straight from a tropical island. I may have even had visions of a cabana boy in my mind!
