MindLaunch is a virtual interactive classroom for tutoring and coaching. They offer a variety of subjects for all ages. My daughter really likes to write so I signed her up for tutoring in English: Writing Skills K-5. She really gets upset when I make corrections on her work so it’s hard to make your child understand constructive criticism.
This virtual classroom uses state-of-the-art interactive technology so that teachers and students can hear, eyt also see each other. They communicate by using an interactive whiteboard to allow the student real-time sharing and editing of work and lessons. Through the use of video the teacher is better able to see if the student understands what is being taught.
I was very impressed with the entire interactive component of the tutoring session and especially the video. The first thing my daughter asked me about her tutor was what does she look like?
Tutoring has really come a long way since I tutored. Before technology you would meet in a central location to tutor someone. Now the possibilities are endless. Best of all, the student can schedule their tutoring session with a time that works for them, and work from the safety and comfort of their own home.
When you sign up for a tutoring session you will have to download their software in order to use their interactive equipment. I highly recommend Principal Educator &
Personnel Coordinator Julia L if you plan to get tutoring in writing. She was very professional, efficient and helpful. Not to mention my daughter loved her. She also sent me a session report after every session to update me on everything they went over.
MindLaunch has experienced, licensed U.S teachers that have the training and practice to help their students to master any academic challenge. With the end of the school year quickly approaching, this would be a excellent opportunity to get some extra help in an area that your child may be struggling. So many parents forget that skills learned from the previous school year will be lost without addressing them during their summer vacation.
