Easter is in 3 weeks and my son is getting pretty excited. While he loves finding a basket full of goodies from the Easter Bunny, he really loves going on egg hunts. I just love watching his face light up as he finds each egg and discovers what’s inside. Sometimes there’s some coins, chocolate, or even a little toy. This year will undoubtedly be his favorite year yet when he discovers what’s inside of his Hatch ‘Ems eggs.
Hatch ‘Em eggs aren’t your typical Easter eggs. While most eggs are filled with candy, Hatch ‘Em eggs are super grow eggs that have an animal inside. Once your egg has hatched, the animal can grow up to 10 times its size for even more fun.

To hatch your egg, simply place in a cup or bowl of room temperature water that completely covers the top of the egg. Over the next few days, the egg will crack and eventually hatch to reveal your new animal friend. Once the egg has hatched, you can keep the animal in the water so it can continue to grow up to 10 times its size, or it can be played with as is.
I simply cannot wait for Easter to see my son’s face when he discovers his Hatch ‘Em eggs. The fun with these goes beyond just Easter morning and makes for a really special treat.
