My last two years of teaching art I shared my classroom with another teacher. She was always surprising me with her creativity. One way that she surprised me was by making her own diy all purpose cleaner. She brought in a cleaner for us to use on the tables, and it cleaned everything. It cleaned crayons, glue, makers, paint and anything else my students left on the tables. If this cleaner can clean tables in an art room, then it can clean anything.
I have been using my diy all purpose cleaner for several years now. I have used it on all my surfaces at home: bathroom counter tops, kitchen counter tops, all tables indoor and outdoor, even the toilets. I am very comfortable using it on any surface.
The best part is I always have the ingredients on hand, and I’m sure you do too!
DIY All Purpose Cleaner
- 1/4 Rubbing Alcohol
- Fill The Rest With Water
Occasionally my house does smell like a hospital, but at least it’s 91% proof! Just think of all the money you are saving by trying it. One bottle of rubbing alcohol will last you several months.
As always to save money, I used a recycled spray bottle, and labeled it to remember my recipe.
Now go get rid of those germs!
