My family enjoys their cereal. I’m not even kidding you one bit. We go through about a box each day, sometimes more. The boys eat it for breakfast, an after school snack and even in the evenings after dinner. But the good thing is that they don’t only choose those ones loaded with sugar. In fact, Lil Man is quite the opposite and often grabs the “better for you” boxes first. Score 1 for mom!
We recently tried NEW Honey Bunches of Oats Whole Grain cereals and the family and I all agree that they are quite tasty. Each bite is packed with vanilla and/or honey deliciousness rolled into crunchy oats. But more than that, it’s better for us than other cereal choices we sometimes make. With 2/3 (33 grams) of your daily Whole Grain essentials packed into each serving along with 4 grams of fiber and other nutrients, it’s definitely a cereal that I can feel good about stocking in our pantry.
With the new year, I didn’t do resolutions because I always tend to break them. But instead, I decided to make changes in the choices that I make when it comes to food and exercise. With these NEW Honey Bunches of Oats Whole Grain cereal varieties, I can feel good about my morning choices by grabbing a quick bowl. The Vanilla Bunches is my favorite, but I definitely enjoy the Honey Crunch variety as I’ve been a Honey Bunches of Oats fan for many years.
Did you know that American’s tend to eat less than one serving of whole grain each day? I know, it sounds crazy. but I think we as people just think whole grain might not “taste good” and we’re afraid. But by packing whole grain into an already scrumptious cereal, I surely couldn’t taste the difference!
