Hey Dude Theme Song
It’s a little wild and a little strange
When you make a home out on the range
Start your horse and come along
But you can’t get a ride if you can’t hold on
Singin’
Yippee-ty-yi-yay
(Yippee-ty-yi-what?)
Like the cowboys say
(Sing it again now)
Yippee-ty-yi-yay
(Get along, little doggies)
‘Til the break of day
Better watch out for those men, jackrabbits, and that killer cacti!
Hey dude!
Remember the well-meaning owner Mr. Ernst (David Brisbin) and his bumbling demeanor? He tried so hard to keep his teenage staff in line but hilarity always ensued. With young kids working on a Dude Ranch they will inevitably get into mischief. My 6 year old and I watched this DVD set together and it is such a hoot! I forgot so much that each episode felt like new to me. I couldn’t help but think about how it would be different on the ranch with the cell phones and technology of today. They wear so much denim in the show! This set is a part of my childhood and I thoroughly enjoyed watching all these old episodes with my daughter while she was stuck on the sofa sick all day. This slap-stick comedy/western will certainly bring loads of laughter as it is “old school” 90s comedy at its best.
