The cool weather is on its way and we love being outdoors to enjoy it. Now is our favorite time of year to take picnics and we love sitting around the fire pit at night roasting marshmallows. Sometimes it can get a little chilly, and even rainy since we live in Florida, so it’s nice to have a good multi-purpose blanket we can take with us wherever we go. The Adventure Blanket from Tribe Provisions is the perfect blanket for all of our outdoor needs.
It’s versatile in so many ways whether it’s keeping you warm while camping or keeping you dry if your sporting event gets rained out. This blanket was meant to be outdoors – it’s durable, lightweight, waterproof, comfortable, and comes in an easy to stuff sack.
The sack itself stays connected to the blanket so you don’t lose it. Given that I have a toddler that would like nothing more than to run around with this blanket on his head, it’s perfect that I always know where the sack is to store the Adventure Blanket.
The Adventure Blanket is 68″ by 55″ and is a great size whether you’re sitting on or covering up with it. It’s also machine washable, making it perfect for outdoor use. Made from durable, Rip-Stop nylon, it holds up well to the elements and to being outside. I know we will get use out of this throughout the entire year. It makes a great cover up when we’re chilly out by the fire pit, but it also makes for a good beach blanket, perfect for bringing to my son’s soccer games, and is great to simply lay on in the backyard and look at the stars. The Adventure Blanket has a permanent place in my car and now goes everywhere with us.
This blanket is in its beginning phase, but needs more awareness and funding to launch. Tribe Provisions is launching the Adventure Blanket through Kickstarter (the project is found here). Those who donate $35 or more will receive the Adventure Blanket as a thank-you for helping us move this project forward. Funding will be used for inventory and production as well as for marketing purposes. The Kickstarter deadline is in just a few days – November 15 – so make sure to check it out.
