Tic Tac Toe has always been a favorite of mine. If you’ve got paper and a pen handy, you’re good to play the game. I’ve never thought about three-dimensional Tic Tac Toe until I got to try Tic Stac Toe. Usually one weekend night my husband and I play games together and I thought this would be the perfect game to get our competitive sides out and to have fun.
Tic Stac Toe is a unique twist on Tic Tac Toe. The world’s favorite game of X’s and O’s goes extreme in this exciting version where 4 in a row on any level wins! Place one of your pieces on the game base or on top of any piece that’s already been played. Stay alert for opportunities to get four-in-a-row! It can happen in ANY direction (vertically, horizontally or diagonally), and even across different levels! Features 66 high-quality 2 playing pieces.
While traditional tic tac toe can be easy and a little mindless, this is far from it. You really have to pay attention to the entire board to make sure you’re not missing a chance to block the other person from winning. I know my husband won a few times and I really just didn’t see the move he had lined up. Needless to say this game is highly competitive, but it is so much fun to play.
The game itself is very sturdy. I’ll admit I was worried it might fall over once we started to stack our pieces, but it stayed put. The X’s and O’s are thick and connect well to each other. The board itself is also easy to put together and clean up for this game is pretty quick, too. I really like that there are two blocker pieces in this game to add to the fun.
Tic Stac Toe is a great game for the whole family. While my husband and I use all 4 of the boards and play the game by lining up 4 X’s or O’s, you have the option of only lining up 3 and using less of the boards. This would be a fun game to play with older kids and is a great addition to any game night. I can’t wait to play it again this weekend because I know I’m going to win this time.
