These would make the perfect holiday gifts. Since they are new you know the recipient won’t already have them and with the fun characters teaching a little bit about American history you have a book that is fun and a tad bit educational too. These books make it fun to learn about Great Inventors, Great Explorers and Great Heroes in an age appropriate way.
I know it is still October but the month is almost over and thus begins the Holiday season. One of my go-to gift ideas is always books. I was a librarian before I became a blogger so it is engrained in my mind that kids need books and they need to read. As a child I was addicted to books and I hope for the same with my kids. Books are always a great gift because they don’t take up too much space and reading them to kids at night before bed is always a great way to wind down the day. This series of books features the Peanuts characters teaching kids about American history and its heroes in a fun and interesting way.

I really like that they have really nice hardback covers and that the pictures are bright and colorful as to keep little one’s attentions.

Growing up I was always a big fan of Lucy and Pig-Pen and now I can share my love of the Peanuts gang with my girls.
