~I received a MegaBloks First Builders? Fast Tracks? Raceway for review. Opinions and stories are my own.~
My little guy is a huge fan of vehicles, especially race cars. All day, every day, we play with cars and build crazy tracks and towns for them all around the house. Although he just turned 6, he’s still working on his motor and cognitive skills and one of the best ways we’ve found to help is through using Mega Bloks First Builders! We take his love of cars and mix it with creative building. So when I was offered a chance to review the new Mega Bloks First Builders Fast Tracks Raceway, it hit the perfect spot!
The Fast Tracks Raceway is ideal for ages 1-5. It includes 50 pieces of easy to build blocks that create 2 race tracks. The first track has 4 ramps, while the second connects the ramp pieces to make 2 longer ramps for the cars.
The pack also includes stickers to create a little grandstand, mechanic stop, speakers, lights and add detail to the flags!
Each of the cars are 3 pieces that can be interchanged with each other to create red/yellow cars. The easy assembly is great for kids and the wheels do get a bit of traction, so they can race along flat surfaces really well.
All of the blocks are compatible with Mega Bloks First Builders, so you can create endless fun. Tot likes to create super ramps or trailers for his race-cars with all his bloks. Just imagine what your child can do!
We’ve used Mega Bloks for everything from teaching colors and math, to helping with coordination and problem solving. They’ve always been such a fun creative outlet for children with big ideas and I love that they came up with a unique way to play for all those mini speedsters out there (including my guy)!
