It’s August and kids are already starting to head back to school. We’ve been talking back to school lately everywhere, what what about “off to college”? We mustn’t forget that kids across the nation will be venturing away from home, to new and exciting places. Most of these kids will be living on campus, on their own for the first time in their lives. While that is definitely exciting, it can be quite scary too!
You’ve thought about all of the things your not so little one will need like new bedding, a desk, laundry baskets and everything in between. But what about things like dinnerware, bowls and place mats. A kid’s gotta eat, right? Yes, they sure do!
Kohl’s definitely has some great finds for the dorm. They’ve got Food Network dishes that are not only quality dishes, but they come in a 4-piece setting so that your kiddo doesn’t have to have an entire set of dishes stacked in their dorm. They come in many different colors, so if they’d like more than one set {for their roomie or if a friend comes to study}, they can easily be mixed and matched! I’m loving the red and aqua color combination that I picked out! They’re fun, they’re festive and they’re bright!
You’ll also find a grand selection of lovely place mats to give your son or daughter a little bit of that comfort from home. Its’ the little things like this that we just don’t always think of when sending our kids off on their own.
They might actually even need bowls, like the Food Network Nesting Prep Bowls. While they may not have a kitchen, they’ll probably have a microwave. Not to mention, snack mixes are so easy to mix up and give a nice variety to plain jane pretzels and crackers.
