I’m all about saving money whenever I can. With a family my size, I really have to save a few bucks on things here and there. However, I don’t have the time to clip coupons, so that limits the ways that I can save – but luckily, not at every store. Walgreens now offers eCoupons which are paperless coupons that require no clipping whatsoever!
With the Walgreens Mobile App, I just choose the coupons that I want, hit the “Clip to Card” button and they’re automatically “clipped” to my Balance Rewards Card. There’s no scissors required and I never have to remember to bring my coupons with me either because they’re already loaded. When I’m ready to checkout, they’re easily redeemed when I scan my Balance Rewards Card via the app on my phone, the actual card or punching in my phone number.
I needed a few staples in the house this weekend and was able to save on things like laundry stain remover, air freshener and wax melts. Mosquitoes are just horrible in Wisconsin this summer, so I had to grab more bug spray for our fun weekend festivities too.
Since I saved a bit of money, I decided that it would be nice to treat myself to some pretty stuff for my garden. Of course, like most moms, I never shop for myself without getting something for the kids, so I grabbed some fun toys for outside as well!
The toys were a hit with all of the kids at a cook out party we attended over the weekend! The little ones had a blast playing horseshoes and ring toss while the older kids tried to master the boomerang.
I found this adorable little owl with a flame-less tealight that I knew would look just perfect in my garden and give off a nice hint of light in the darkness.
I also picked up a set of 3 little metal lanterns with a flame-less tealight. They look wonderful scattered throughout my garden. I love these type of lanterns because they look great hung on a metal stake or just sitting on the mulch in the garden. And of course since I saved some cash with my paperless coupons, I didn’t feel an ounce of guilt for splurging on myself!
Walgreens always has such cute decor for every season, so I can totally see where the money I save will be going!
I know that some of you really love to save money, but don’t like clipping coupons either. What would you use the money that you saved with Walgreens paperless coupons on?
