Nothing beats a cool drink in the summer, especially one that is relaxing. Inspired by my favorite afternoon brunch drink, the Mimosa, I took a sweet twist using delicious Ciao Bella Sorbetto’s. I also added one for you chocolate lovers out there using my most favorite chocolate iced treat, Ciao Bella Belgian Chocolate Gelato. It is to die for.
We believe that the very nature of dessert being unnecessary to survival is exactly why it should be as pleasurable as humanly possible. This first drink I call the Champagne Cocktail as a twist to a fruit cocktail. It has hints of Strawberry from the Champagne, chill Ciao Bella Alphonso Mango Sorbetto and swirled with infused Nectarines. This is my favorite chill drink for a summer brunch!
For a more crisp summer treat, with a fun little spin, you can make whip up some Riesling Martini’s! Here’s the fun twist. Instead of olives like typical martini’s, scoop out the Sorbetto with a melon baller and slide them on a toothpick!
Then you pour in a sweet crisp Riesling wine and top it off with a slice of Strawberry. You can also make it a little sweeter by coating the strawberry in sugar!
When thinking of summer special occasions I always think of champagne and strawberries. There is a beautiful romance about the pairing and for this drink I decided to give a twist to the strawberries themselves by filling them with Ciao Bella Sicilian Blood Orange Sorbetto. They remind me of stolen summer love, so I called this drink Secret Kisses.
Now for all of you ladies who absolutely love chocolate, here is one for you! I fell in love with the Ciao Bella Belgian Chocolate Gelato. It is by far one of the best gelato’s I’ve ever tasted and very addicting! So I had to make a cool treat called Chocolate Dream.
You can pick up Ciao Bella at Whole Foods, or even in some grocery stores! Here in MO I found them at Dierberg’s! Just look in your grocers freezer section and/or check out the Store Locator at Ciao Bella. They have multiple fusion gelato’s that will make your summer the sweetest it can be!
