The weather is getting warmer and that means one thing for our furry little friends – flea and tick season is in full swing. Of course, we would never want our pets to fall ill, so that’s why we protect them with PetArmor. That way they can enjoy playing ball in the yard and going for walks through the woods – without us having to worry about those pesky little critters infesting our pooches’ bodies or our home.
Fleas and ticks can be dangerous to pets and humans – actually multiplying rather quickly. Before you know it, your home could be infested, with fleas and their nasty little eggs; living in your carpet and bedding. It’s definitely not something you want to realize before it’s too late and that’s why we’re adamant on protecting our pets. The dogs are outdoors very often and our lot has quite a few very large/old trees – plus the lake is right through our backyard. It’s literally a breeding ground for these pests.
We like PetArmor because it helps protect out dogs from these critters that can transmit tape worms and the bacteria that causes Lyme Disease. That’s just too big a risk to take, so we protect them instead with a great product that contains the No. 1 veterinarian-recommended active ingredient, fipronil. It also costs less than another major brand, so it doesn’t break the bank since we have to use it on three dogs. PetArmor can be found at Walmart and Walmart.com.
Knowing your pet’s weight and age is an important factor to take into mind when choosing the product that is right for your furry family member. You’re never supposed to split tubes between dogs and always make sure to apply 30 days after the last flea and tick application.
PetArmor is very easy to use. There are three little tubes inside the package, each of which is a 30 day treatment. I grabbed a tube, cut it open and applied from the back of their necks to about midway between neck and tail. The funny thing is, I was alone and actually tried to take a photo of this process. Yeah, totally didn’t happen!
When all was said and done, I found the application process to be rather easy and it didn’t take any time at all. Max was happy because he got to enjoy playtime in the yard – playing ball, his favorite!
