~I received a copy of The Little Rascals Save the Day on Blu-ray for review. Opinions and stories are my own.~
The Little Rascals have been everyone’s kids for multiple generations and I’m so excited to tell you about the newest film, The Little Rascals Save the Day. The last movie came out in 1994 and I probably watched it over a hundred times! I thought it was pretty amazing how they pulled off making the new actors look so much like the original movie child stars. I actually had to look it up to make sure they didn’t figure out time travel.
The Little Rascals Save the Day stars:
- Doris Roberts as Grandma
- Greg Germann as Ray “Big Ray”
- Kaye
Lex Medlin as Officer Kennedy - Valerie Azlynn as Miss Crabtree
- Jet Jurgensmeyer as Spanky
- Drew Justice as Alfalfa
- Jenna Ortega as Mary Ann
- Connor Berry as Stymie
- Isaiah “Zay Zay” Fredericks as Buckhweat
- Camden Gray as Porky
- Eden Wood as Darla
- Grant Palmer as Waldo
Keeping in the spirit of Our Gang, many of the kids are fresh faces on the screen, Eden Wood (Toddler & Tiara’s) and Isaiah “Zay Zay” Frederick’s (Youtube Sensation) being the exceptions. Also, Bug Hall (the movie original Alfalfa) makes an appearance as the Ice Cream Man! I thought it was so nice that he came in to play a part!
Since the film surrounds around Grandma’s bakery and loves to share treats and cookies throughout, it is only fitting that we share some wonderful recipes in celebration of the movie release last week!

The Little Rascals Recipes include:
- Apple Cinnamon White Cake
- Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Easy Ice-Cream Cake
- Easy Red Velvet Cake (do not use actual velvet)
Don’t worry, none of them include pieces of clothing, excessive amounts of yeast or will blow up your kitchen.
