I’m a nature enthusiast. In fact, my entire family is. We love to be outdoors and naturally, we find such beauty in nature. Lucky for us, we live on a lake and are able to experience many of the joys of nature first hand, right in our own backyard!
My husband and I are hoping to travel to Florida in the end of May for his brother’s wedding and we plan to stay a few extra days and explore some of the many things that Florida has to offer, such as Gulf Country. While I enjoy riding in the boat on our little lake, I would be thrilled to enjoy a day on the water in Cape San Blas. It would be a perfect spot for the hubby and I to enjoy the sunset and the beautiful white sands. Maybe we could even celebrate our anniversary a few months early!
Now that I’m older, relaxing vacations are what really appeal to me and I think we could have relaxation and fun all at the same time in Gulf Country. It would be a nice break from the daily grind and give us some time to reflect on the beauty of nature while taking a quiet laid back vacation on these serene beaches.
We could sip cocktails on the beach and take romantic walks at sunset on Salinas Bayside Pier. We could kayak in St. Joseph Bay and swim in the crystal clear water. We could snack on Tupelo Honey and go snorkeling. The possibilities are endless and I’m already getting excited!
Though we won’t this time, it would be a perfect place to bring the dogs with us on vacation. In fact, CGFL is ranked as one of the top 10 US beaches to vacation with pets. Leashed pets are always welcome on the beach and many rental homes will accomodate as well!
