Every year at Easter time I get excited for PEEPS season. It is the time when I get to hit the stores and see what fun new PEEPS products are out there. Part of our tradition is to have Peeps in the girls’ Easter baskets every year. I like peeps because I have always been a huge fan of marshmallow treats but I also like that I can get creative with them to make crafts or extra tasty treats.
This year we have a little twist going
on in our house. We now have an adorable little plush PEEP that watches
out from the perch near our pirate collection and this magical PEEP will
let the Easter bunny know if my girls have been good!
?The flowers were budding, the grass emerged from snow, and winter was finally coming to a close. All of the kids played outside once more, while thoughts of spring-time chores went right out the door.Meanwhile, back in Bethlehem, PA, the Easter Bunny was becoming busier by the day.But today was one of the most important of them all, as the PEEPS? gathered ?round, some stout and some tall. They met to discuss their mission this year, a big responsibility which was sure to bring cheer. The messenger PEEPS? assured they were ready to go, and off they traveled to various homes. The PEEPS? were ready to watch over kids everywhere and report back whether each child had earned their Easter basket share. And for all the young boys and girls who do behave, their PEEPS? will ensure their baskets are filled with the marshmallow treats they crave.?

One of the ways to have fun with PEEPS is to make Chocolate PEEPS Pops with your kids! Mel made these and not only do they look super tasty but I can easily make this something fun to do with my 5 and 2 year old.
PEEPS are iconic to the Easter season
and are almost as beloved as the Easter Bunny himself. My children are
on their best behavior as they eagerly await the arrival of the Easter
Bunny on April 20th. Lately it is because of a bright yellow PEEPS plush that has been
specially trained to foster family togetherness and help provide a
watchful eye for the Easter Bunny as he prepares baskets brimming with
marshmallow PEEPS on Easter morning. What is your favorite PEEPS treat?
