The weather in Wisconsin has been bitter cold this year. In fact, this has been the coldest year that I can ever remember and I’ve lived here almost my whole life. Some days, I don’t even want to step outside – it’s so cold!
With temperatures below freezing many days, my husband feels the same way, so I’ve dealt with a #ScruffyDude almost all winter long. The first time, he went a couple of months without shaving – until I finally nagged nonstop when his beard was over 2 inches long! I got him to shave, but then he grew it out again.Below, you’ll see his latest scruffy look.
That being said, when I was contacted to participate in the #ScruffyDude challenge and to try out the Arc 3 Wet/Dry Shaver by Panasonic, I was all for it. I made sure my husband was willing and to my delight – he was!
The Arc 3 arrived and he was immediately impressed. He’d never used a shaver like this before – just a beard trimmer and regular razor. He was quite excited to test it out. I was quite pleased with the look of it. The only electrical outlet is right by the vanity, where all my pretty perfume bottles sit – so I was worried how it would blend. To my delight, it didn’t look so bad!
The Arc 3 has a plastic guard that covers the blades, which you actually have to pop off to use the shaver. That’s a great feature if you have young kids around. You won’t have to worry about them trying to shave like daddy and cutting off part of their hair. Yes, Lil Man actually did do that once when he was about 3 with hubby’s beard trimmer!
When my hubby shaves, he usually does it all. He will shave his head, then his face. I didn’t realize he was shaving at the particular moment he was, but was lucky enough to come in close to the end.
The end result – a guy handsome man who isn’t quite a #ScruffyDude anymore! He said the shaver works great and gets so close, he doesn’t have a need for a regular razor anymore!
