All winter long I have been trying to form a routine of working out at home. January hit and I made a vow of working out 5 days a week for 15 minutes a day…just 15 minute, that’s it! Do you think I stuck to it…no!?!
It’s now almost March and I am doing better than January. I think it’s because I have motivation to work out, my motivation is a wonderful vacation to the Riviera Maya with my husband for our 10th year anniversary in June! We are both really looking forward to it, and I want to feel good about myself while we’re there.
One thing that is going to help me reach my goal are these videos right here-Tracie Long Longevity Series! Three videos are in this series-Step Forward, Defining Shape, and the Staying Power.
All of the videos are amazing but my favorite out of the three has to be the Defining Shape Video! This video is a 50 minute high energy, total body strength workout. Tracie Long combines functional and traditional strength training exercises that combine upper and lower body movement to increase strength.
My most favorite part of the video is the shorter workouts:
- Below the Belt(15 minutes)-Favorite compilation of skinny jean workout that heat up and slim down the hip and butt muscles.
- Hour Glass(20 minutes)-A waist trimming workout that recruits the trunk and hip muscles with a challenging sequence of rotation, extension and balance exercises in both standing and lying positions.
As a busy mom, sometimes I can’t get in the 50 minute workout, so these targeted 15-20 minute workouts are wonderful if you’re in a time crunch!
I would definitely purchase these videos-they are a super fast way to get fit, and are also tailored to each specific muscle group.
