Although Skylanders Swap Force released in October/November (depending on your platform), today they finally released the last of the Skylanders toys that allow players to complete levels 100%! So let me tell you a little about this new installment!
If merging toys with video games wasn’t already a remarkable idea, Activision raised the bar with creating swappable Skylanders. These characters have top and bottom halves which allow you to interchange them with a total of 256 combinations! Another neat aspect of the new Skylanders is that each one of them has 8 different ways of moving and there are “SWAP Zones” where only certain combinations can enter.
I had received the Skylanders Swapforce Starter Kit which includes:
- Skylanders Swapforce game
- 1 Portal of Power
- 3 Skylander Figures (2 of them are Swap Force)
- 1 Character Collector Poster
- 3 Sticker Sheets with Secret Codes
- 3 Trader Cards
The nice thing is that you can still use all your old characters from the previous games alongside Skylander Swap Force characters. Plus, there is the added benefit that you can jump! Though older players should note that this changes the controls for previous characters from GIANTS.
