Well, it’s been swell. I’ve enjoyed sharing information about my Bread-bassodor program with you all over the last few months. And of course, I’ve eaten a lot of bread – but good for you bread, so I guess that doesn’t count as much – does it?
For my last post, I am so excited to share with you an interview that I did with Alison Sweeney. Well, I didn’t really get to talk to her, I emailed the questions to my rep and she emailed them back.. but still. She answered them just the same – yay! Now, if I could just get her to read my blog, that would make my day!
Q1. I have been a long time fan of yours since you first aired on Days of our Lives years ago! I’d love to hear how the show and Samantha’s character have affected your life.
A1. Wow. It’s been almost 21 years since I started paying Sami on Days and my character certainly has been through a lot. I’m proud of tackling social issues over the years and certainly the show has become a second family to me. I’ve grown up there.
Q2. What is the creepiest thing a fan has ever done to you or the craziest thing a fan has ever given you? {Question submitted by Katrina Troy, contributor at Outnumbered 3 to 1}
A2. I’m so lucky to have incredible fans who are so thoughtful with their comments to me and the gifts that they send to me.
Q3. What inspired you to become a spokesperson for the Feed Your Better campaign?
A3. The campaign was inspired by the finding that self-motivation is often a barrier to success ? 80% of men and women believe they are the biggest obstacle to meeting their personal goals! I loved the idea of Feed Your Better because we should all be inspiring one another to constantly improve ourselves. For me, I need to make an effort to stop and smell the roses despite my hectic schedule so I hope by sharing my better, others can identify where they can improve their lives and we can reward some of those plans with a million dollar purse from which they can feed their better.
I also want to remind you about the Feed Your Better contest! The submission portion is over, but the finalists will be announced on December 9th and you can have a say in who wins because you can vote for your favorite finalist!
Feed Your Better is so much more than just a contest though – it is encouragement to do better, to be better and to live better. 2 in 5 Americans say that their personal better is to eat better. Whether that’s you idea of better or something else would Feed Your Better, I want to see you succeed and reach your goals in the new year. So when you’re thinking about your New Years Resolutions this holiday season, think about what you could do to better yourself, make a plan of action and do whatever it takes to reach that goal! I have faith in you – you can do it!
What will your resolution be this year to Feed Your Better?
