If you have not shopped at Super Duper Publications than you are truly missing out! I have reviewed several products from them over the last year and I have never once been disappointed. Their items are top quality and always have a function of learning. They make learning fun while a child is working on their language, vocabulary or speech skills at the same time. They have hundreds of products to choose from and they are organized by categories to help you find the right product to help your child with a specific skill that they need improving. This holiday season think about an educational yet extremely fun gift from Super Duper Publications. My 5 year old never once thinks she is “working or learning” while playing their games and only thinks of them as fun. She picks these off our game shelf just as often as her annoying games with nothing but annoy Mama factors in them. Here are a few of our new ones.
MagneTalk? Mealtime Game for Grades Pre K and up.
Bagels, blueberries, broccoli and bananas — which two fall in the same food group? Children love using this magnetic game to discuss and create healthy meals. Teach your children five basic food groups including meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy, and grains. The vinyl photo-magnets provide plenty of play options for learning new vocabulary and categorizing foods by their food groups.
Playing this game was definitely our first time discussing food groups. It never even crossed my mind to work on food groups with her before. She loves it! We first worked on just diving up items into proper food groups and then went on to working on healthy meal choices.
She loved working with the different food groups and later while I was cooking dinner she tried to mimic our dinner onto her board. I don’t know a little kid that doesn’t enjoy playing with magnets.
Alone and other poems is a Children’s Book for all ages.
Written by Super Duper co-founder Thomas Webber and lovingly illustrated by his daughter Abigail, this collection of poems will be enjoyed by not just by children but parents and grandparents. With themes like Pip the Pup, Manny Mole, and Snowman, each page is a whimsical adventure that will have the reader pondering the poetry long after the book is closed. The hardback book runs 52 pages.
This is a fun book that my 5 year old has been enjoying me read to her. I don’t often read her poem books but this one is just perfect for her. The poems are fun to read out loud and fun to listen to. The illustrations are simple yet so well done I can’t help but enjoy the artwork.
I would go so far as to say that this is a great book of poems for even the littlest of kids. My 2 year old enjoys listening to me read it as much as my 5 year old. I also like it because they are poems that are new to me instead of reading the same old children’s poems over and over again. It can be hard to get kids into poetry but this book makes poems fun!
They also have several smaller products that would work great as stocking stuffers! Like the 60 count Ticklin’ Tongue Twister Pencils. Everyone needs a new No. 2 pencil but this one entertains with a tongue twister on each one! Such as “ten tiny turtles sitting on a tiny tin tub turned tan!”
Check out all they have to offer. Many of the games have videos you can watch that explain the game and the skills it helps to work on. I find those super helpful when picking out which ones will work best for my Preschooler. I am a big believer in education gifts for the holidays!
