Operation Smile is a community of over 5,000 medical volunteers from all around the world that specialize in providing free, safe, and effective cleft lip, cleft palate reconstruction and other facial deformities surgeries for children all over the world. The procedures can take as little as 45 minutes to perform, but offer a lifetime of smiles for the child, their family, and communities. Hundreds of thousands of children still need this surgery and sadly, 1 in 10 children will die by their first birthdays from not receiving a surgery in time.
