Soap-free product line with same pH as healthy skin – pH 5.5 Does not strip the protective layer of the skin like soap can.SebaMed is extremely mild and allergen free for sensitive skin. It works to supports the skin’s natural healing process for problematic skin.
When the fall and winter weather swoop in and the temperature seems to be on a roller coaster, I find my child’s skin ravaged by rashes, dry spots, and irritation. The poor thing just turned four and he’s been suffering from this since he was two months old! My husband and I suffer from dry skin as well, but nothing like eczema that drives Sonshine crazy and it seems like after a few weeks any and all products that offered relief just stopped working.
Baby Sebamed seems like the perfect solution for all our itchy, scratchy, blotchy skin issues.
Baby Sebamed Children’s Shampoo is a soap-free shampoo that protects the delicate natural balance of baby’s (and preschoolers!) hair and scalp by no stripping the natural oils. It smells wonderful, a delicate, light blend that left me begging my son for extra cuddles just so I could sniff his hair. This is due to the chamomile extract that naturally soothes his scalp and calm any irritation he might be experiencing. The poor kid had cradle cap until after he was two, so the winter weather really bothers his delicate blonde head! Sebamed’s Children’s Shampoo also:
- Dermatologist-tested
- Maintains a 5.5 pH balance
- Free of: Soap, Parabens, Formaldehyde, Nitrosamines, Dioxin, & Color Additives
- Fine for all hair types (Worked great on our fine hair!)
- Fine for extremely sensitive scalps/dry scalps
- Supports scalp’s acid mantle to maintain moisture levels while blocking negative environmental influences
Baby Wash Extra Soft may or may not have been shared amongst child and mom here… Okay, yes, we shared because this stuff was amazing! It’s a no-tears formula that’s extra-moisturizing which contains sugar tenside complex. This is an extremely mild cleansing agent that protects skin from dryness. The baby wash also:
- Contains squalane and allantoin-rich formula
- Restores skin to a 5.5 pH balance
- Free of Parabens, Soap, Formaldehyde, Nitrosamines, Dioxin, & Color Additives
- Great for all skin types
The Sebamed Baby Wash was perfect for keeping everyone’s dry skin balanced and moisturized. After a weeks wash, the dry skin was healing and no longer itched. It also left a very light and clean scent on the skin for a few hours afterwards.
After bathing, we used the Baby Sebamed Baby Lotion to help lock in all the moisture, with it’s lightweight formula. Made with chamomile extract and allantoin, it hydrates and soothes irritated skin. It smells great, just like the rest of the products and offers instant relief throughout the day when Sonshine feels an itch thanks to the change of weather from hour to hour. Just like the other products, you can expect:
- Free of Parabens, Formaldehyde, Nitrosamines, Dioxin, & Color Additives
- Natural-based buffer substances: Sodium Citrate and Sodium Lactate
- Fine for all skin types
- Hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, and non-irritating
We’ll be buying another bottle in the summer time to keep in the fridge to help calm and heal irritated skin with its lightweight formula. I found this easiest to help Sonshine apply out of the shower, so it soaked in quickly before dressing.
When it’s all too much and we need extra protection, Baby Sebamed Baby Cream Extra Soft is what we reach for. The cream is a little thicker and offers ultra-moisturizing protection to prevent dryness throughout the whole day. We’ve been using this sparingly on the worst patches of eczema because although it’s very soft feeling, but thicker than lotion. It does wonders for the worst skin conditions we’ve faced without leaving a greasy mess behind. You can expect:
- Free of Parabens, Formaldehyde, Nitrosamines, Dioxin, & Color Additives
- Promotes a 5.5 pH balance
- Recommended for extremely sensitive/dry skin
- Hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and dermatologist tested
I’m confident that if we keep using all the Baby Sebamed products, that we’ll be kissing skin irritants goodbye this year and for years to come! I love how the products are soap free, dermatologist-tested, and leave my son feeling great in his own skin!
