It's All About the Noodle with The Kugel Company

Do you remember when you were young, and went to fun-filled, and sometimes crazy family reunions? I do! I mostly remember playing hard until I passed out from exhaustion. I also remember the smell…the yummy smell of BBQ, on the grill. My absolute favorite at these reunions were the casseroles. Green bean casserole, cheesy potato casserole, and any sort of noodle casserole. I ate them all!

A few weeks ago as I was warming up my treat from The Kugel Company, all of those wonderful memories came flooding back into my mind. Have you ever heard of The Kugel Company? It’s a scrumptious noodle dish topped with crispy corn flakes that Michele Locker founded. Michele grew up having Kugel at Thanksgiving and family gatherings and wanted to share it with other households.

Kugel, the classic noodle dish passed down from generation to generation, has made its way from Grandma’s kitchen to the freezer aisle of your local grocery store.

The Kugel Company brings an old family favorite to your table for the first time in a convenient, microwavable package. The company has created the first pre-baked kugel that is ready to eat anytime, anywhere.

Kugel is a creamy dish made with wide, wavy egg noodles and topped with crispy corn flakes. Available from the company in two delectable flavors, it is a hit at dinner parties and potlucks, even amongst kids. Few can resist the homemade, fresh-from-the-oven taste of The Kugel Company’s dishes.

I had the wonderful opportunity to try the Original Sweet Kugel. As pictured above, you can see noodles are the main ingredient. Along with the noodles is a sweet creamy custard with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. All topped off with corn flakes.

We enjoyed this after dinner one night with a warm cup of coffee. I can see this paired up with some fresh fruit, a scoop of vanilla custard, or simply alone.

I truly enjoyed this not only because of the simplicity of heating it up in the microwave, but because it is made with all natural ingredients. You will not find high fructose corn syrup, or other artificial flavors in this dish.

The Original Savory is another dish we were able to try. This is the perfect side dish to any meal. We paired this with oven baked chicken and fresh tomatoes from our neighbors garden. I could really taste the caramelized onions and roasted garlic. The kids even liked it!

So I was able to go down memory lane thank’s to The Kugel Company!
