As parents, traveling with young ones can be a headache in itself. We just went on vacation about a month ago, and keeping the kids entertained in the van for hours upon hours can be tiring. Before we left I tried to think of little activities they might enjoy for more than two minutes. I bought them little Monsters University figurines, and the No Mess markers and books. The No Mess markers was a success but the figurines were getting lost every 5 minutes, it was such a pain trying to find those things in a van full of stuff.

My little girl and I decided to make some fun flowers! You can bend, stick and mash these together to create anything you desire! These really kept her busy for awhile, that’s amazing since she’s only 3 and still has a short attention span.
We had a paper lunch sack on hand, so we made this adorable lion! I easily cut the sticks and my son put them on the sack. He got so excited over his creation, I think I will buy a package of just the Wikki Stix, or the other themed packs, so he can make more things!
The worm is my favorite, I think twisting the sticks together to make thicker pieces is so much fun!
These really help with imagination and coordination. If your child is young these truly help with fine motor skills. If your child is older these could keep them entertained for hours!
I can definitely see how these are great for travel! The stickiness of the Wikki Stix helps keep them from falling all over your vehicles floor, and the board is a great size for your little ones lap.
