Costumes from Just Pretend Kids capture the essence of wonder and inspiration. JPK believes play is an educational tool that encourages social and creative growth. Their play accessories, tutus, and character costumes help kids dream and explore their imagination and creativity through pretending. From butterfly wings and tutus to caterpillar costumes and baby bunting bundles, each costume is sewn with utmost care in soft breathable fabrics that won?t irritate a little one’s skin or make them hot.
My girls are the girliest of girls. Playing dress up is a daily occurrence. It is not unusual for me to eat my meals next to small princesses or have tea with a toddler in a toga. There is just something magical about the act of pretend. If there is a special gene for loving to dress up then both my girls got it. I personally think they got their love for make believe from their Daddy as I have heard on more than one occasion about his love of dressing up when he was a kid.
Just Pretend Kids has such a wide variety of dress up clothes that my daughters would just say yes please to everything they have. JPK sent me a surprise assortment of play outfits for my girls to enjoy and the excitement was not had just by them but me as well!
Each one is packaged in a nice plastic cover. The two dresses are in garment bags that zip on the side. These bags make for easy storage! Of course the costumes are more impressive outside of the bag.
First up was Lil Sis it the Pumpkin Witch Fairy costume. She actually got excited to put on this costume and Big Sis was actually super sad it was in a size much too small for her. At 22 months this X-Small according to the package fit her perfect and was so stinkin adorable I can’t hardly stand the cuteness! She is officially going as the Pumpkin Witch for Halloween.
Big Sis was super cute in the Pig Costume and she went around oinking everywhere while wearing it!
I am saving the best costume for last. The costume Big Sis was meant to have since the moment she was born. Here she is as the Queen of Hearts.
She keeps going around the house saying “off with your head.”
The reason this is the perfect costume for her is she has a loud personality, she is a leader and has always been on the stubborn side of things.
Even though these costumes are long sleeves and down here in Florida that is usually a no no since it is still so hot even in late October these are made with a completely breathable fabric. Which means they are fun all year long.
The best part is that these costumes are not just perfect for Halloween but they are great for dress up all year long! Like I said earlier almost every single one of my days includes at least one costume change for my girls. They have a small closet dedicated just for dress up!
Dress up is not just for girls either! Just Pretend Kids has plenty of boys costumes too! I really like this Dragon Master Costume!
Check out their adorable accessories like the animal backpacks and stools. I could just picture my preschooler toting one of these to school everyday!
When my husband got a view of the costumes he immediately asked me if they made adult costumes because he really liked how well they were made. Unfortunately they do not but now my kids have costumes that can be worn all year that I know will hold up and not fall apart like many of ours have in the past. Halloween will literally be here before you know it. Not to mention that we normally do several Fall Festivals and local Halloween events that the girls get to dress up at. That way the kids get to wear their costumes out several times throughout the month! What are your kids going to be for Halloween?
