Fall is completely here in the great state of Wisconsin. It’s chilly out and some of the leaves are even starting to change. That means that it’s definitely time to amp up our wardrobe to include jeans, hoodies and shoes instead of our beloved shorts, tshirts and flip flops. Out with the old and in with the cold – brrr.
Well my guy seems to turn all of his clothes into work clothes, so by the time Fall rolls around he lacks many decent jeans or hoodies. My project was to find a Fall outfit for him that was not only warm, but stylish as well.
I chose the Nike KO 2.0 Therma-FIT Hoodie, Levi’s 514 Straight Jeans and Nike Zoom Mogan Mid 2 Skate Shoes.
The clothes arrived in their own plastic bag to seal against the elements and dirt, while the shoes were wrapped in a shoe box. Of course before I let him even touch them, the clothes and I went straight outside for a photo shoot!
Once I snapped all my photos, it was time for him to be my model. He was quite a trooper and did so with little complaint. I happen to think he looks great – though I’m a bit partial!
The Nike KO 2.0 Therma-FIT Hoodie is my favorite. I love that shade of blue, especially on him. Not that you can tell through his squinty eyes – but they are blue so that color really brings them out. I ran out of the house one day and threw his hoodie on and I wished I would have ordered a size smaller so it could have been mine instead – bwahahaha.
Funny story here – when he went to put on his jeans, he laughed and said they must be our sons. He’s not used to straight leg jeans, so the smaller legs is what did it I guess. I assured him they were his size, he had to double check, then put them on. What do you know, they fit! I think the Levi’s 514 Straight Jeans fit perfectly actually. You should have seen the backside of them!
The Nike Zoom Mogan Mid 2 Skate Shoes look great with the outfit. The Man loved the outfit I chose for him – of course because I have great taste! He thought I chose a great outfit for him and felt comfortable wearing it. It’s totally something he would have chosen for himself, so I hit the head on the nail!
I plan to go back to Kohl’s for another of those hoodies for myself. I just wish I would have chosen a different color for him so that I could get that color for me! Husband and wife matchy matchy is a no no for me, so another color will just have to do!
