Once the story was over she would plead with me to read it again. In the front and back cover you are introduced to all the monsters in Goofy Grin Village they are Sloan, Candy, Irmi, and Bo Joe. Each monster has a unique look and story about them. My daughter’s favorite Goofy Grin Monster is Candy (imagine that).
By the end of the story my daughter is less afraid of the dark than when we started. What a great way to explain to our children the things they see and hear at night are not there to do them harm, but instead are there to play with them.
