I keep saying it over and over – and I will probably continue to say it until it really sets in. Summer is almost to an end and school starts back up next week. It’s a sad thought to know that summer will soon be behind us. I feel like it just started and honestly, it’s been one of the most uneventful summers of all time.
I’ve been trying to get the kids back on schedule a bit, so long past are the nights of staying up super late and sleeping in late. Now they’re going to bed and waking up earlier. We’ve been shopping for clothes and gathering supplies. We’ve also stocked the pantry with lunchtime goodies to prepare for the change.
One thing we’ve been steadily preparing for is the germs. With so many kids in such tight quarters, those pesky germs are inevitable. But my kids are going prepared with Wet Ones. I’ve included the Wet Ones Pocket Singles in a pocket inside each of their backpacks and put a tub of them with their classroom supplies. That way they can stay germ free all day!
Most of us know that many classrooms and schools across the nation lack extra supplies. The funding just isn’t available and many teachers end up purchasing supplies out of their own pockets. That’s why we donated school supplies to Lil Man’s school a few weeks ago! I wanted to help ease the burden on the teachers – even if just a little!
Did you know that Wet Ones helps support our teachers too? They are partnered with TeacherLists.com which is a service that helps teachers share their classroom needs with parents. Wet Ones has helped fulfill teacher’s wish lists by donating 15,000 products to teachers across the US! You can head over to TeacherLists.com to find out how you can help and also find out how to get your school participating!
What do you do to prepare for back to school?
