Starting at the end of 2012 I have considered myself a runner in training. I will never be one of those runners that runs at ease on the treadmill or runs a marathon every month. I run for a healthier and thus happier me. I am not a skinny girl so I started slow with barely jogging a few laps on a treadmill. Over time I progressed. Then I did a few 5ks and in February of this year I ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon. I will admit I did not run the entire thing but I still ran a lot and finished without being swept (if you don’t keep a minimum pace they take you out of the race). The one thing I have lacked this entire time is any sort of real training schedule or any sort of coaching. Now with Pear Sports I literally have everything I need right on my phone to help me reach a more fit me.

I am very picky about headphones but these fit me great! I was able to hear the coaches with nice clean and crisp sound.
There are literally so many different workouts to choose from. For running and biking outside to treadmill and stationary bikes at the gym. You can choose a training run based on a distance you are training for or a skill level you may be at.
To get started you do a calibration run so that the program has your correct fitness level based on your heart rate at different levels of workout intensity. This is part of what makes Pear so great. The workouts are geared for your exact need and fitness level. If you are running too fast or slow it will tell you so you can change up to be at the appropriate speed for your optimum workout.
This would be especially great for students as they head off to college. Ward off the dreaded freshman 15 (or in my case it was the sophomore 20) before it happens by starting a workout routine as soon as you get to school!
What really sets this product apart is the
real-time coaching provided by renowned fitness experts who guide users
through each workout with audio messages such as, youre in zone 4,

This is exactly the motivation I have needed on my longer runs.
