OMG Nail Strips How to and Review

When I received the Purple and Pink Leopard spotted OMG Nail Strips for review I was psyched. First of all they are totally my style, and super funky looking. I couldn’t wait to try them out! OMG Nail Strips are similar to other nail strips out there, but in my opinion they come in much cooler designs and were even easier for me to apply than a major name brand nail strip that I had tried in the past.
 

When applying the OMG Nail Strips I pretty much followed the instructions that are included on the package to a T, but I did change up a few things. Instead of moisturizing my hands with lotion after trimming my cuticles, I applied Cuticle Oil to my cuticles. My cuticles are in pretty rough shape as you can probably see from my pictures so I thought this was a better idea than lotion. After waiting a minute or so I removed the cuticle oil with nail polish remover, just one quick swipe over each nail, to ensure that the nail bed was free of oils.

 

The actual application of the nail strips was easier than I had remembered when I had used another

brands nail strips. I did however not remove the clear film that covers the top of the strip. I instead peeled the strip off the attached backing, applied the strip, cut the strip at the edge of my nail, filed off the excess edge and then pulled off the clear film covering the strip. I found it was easier to remove the clear film after the strip was applied, otherwise the strip itself was flimsy and more awkward to apply. Once I was finished applying all the nail strips I topped my funky new manicure off with OPI’s Start to Finish.

 

 

There are 14 nail strips included in a pack of OMG Nail Strips that retail for $6.89 each. With this pack of 14 I was able to do both my hands and my feet. By cutting the strips down when I applied them I even had extra after doing both my hands and feet!
