NO-AD? Sun care was introduced in 1962 with the concept of providing consumers with quality sun care products that are twice the size as national brands for the same price ? all with ?no TV ads?, no hype and no gimmicks. No-Ad has also been named a ?Best Buy? by the USA’s leading consumer publication four years in a row (2009-2012). When it comes to value and common sense, NO-AD has no competition.
I take sun care for my son extremely seriously. I’ve known too many people in my life to have too many complications from poor sun care choices and I cross my fingers my own indiscretions as a teenager don’t come back to bite me?in the butt later?in life. When my son was born and I saw how delicate and fair his skin was, I started to go to crazy lengths to keep it safe from the sun and I’m always on the look out for the best of the best that sunscreen has to offer.
I had never heard of the No-Ad brand of sunscreen before. Down south, there is a certain type of sunscreen that is very popular, but, I’m not a big fan of it. It’s greasy, smells odd, but comes in a high coverage SPF. The shelves are filled with other well known sunscreens, but the size and price has me hiding inside, far, far away from the sun.
We took the Kids 50 SPF sunscreen to the park not too long ago. Both my son and my best friends son have very fair skin. I had been using the spray sunscreens on Sonshine and was just never fully convinced it was getting completely on his wiggly self. Sitting the boys down on a bench, we slathered up my three year old and her nine month old from the neck down with NO-AD.
I put a large dollop on the back of my hand and then it into an exposed skin on the boys. It was easily absorbed and left no oily or greasy feeling. Sonshine thought it felt nice and cool against the heat of the day as well. The best part, even as he ran by me a few times in the sandbox, I never got a whiff of that usual sunscreen smell, which from other brands can linger all day long. While changing him for bed later in he day, I was happy to see his skin was still snow white without the hint of a tan and? was hydrate as if?I put regular lotion on. To me, that’s a sign of a great sunscreen!
We also received three other SPF: 45 Broad Spectrum, 30 Splash Water Sport, and 50 Sport. I’m excited to try out the Splash Water Sport next month when we finally go to the beach! You should apply NO-AD sunscreen at least 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply 80 minutes after swimming or sweating, towel drying, or at least every 2 hours to continue protection. For children under 6 months, ask your doctor before using. My favorite part, NO-AD is about twice the size of other leading sunscreens for the same price.
Sun care is just common sense. Life isn’t always and mommy comedian Kerri Pomarolli? and NO-AD want you to know you’re not alone! Kerri’s four part video series that light of parenthood and marriage, with funny and clean jokes, all of which you can viewed here or see my favorite “Man-Baby” below:
If you’re looking for a lightweight, non-greasy, family friendly sunscreen that not only protects, but will nourish your skin, look no further than NO-AD and their wide variety of sunscreen.
