I’m an office organizational junkie. I love looking at all the great organization products out there, however I fail to buy them. For no reason really, other than I just don’t think about it when I’m at the store or I’m not shopping specifically for that at the time. When I heard that Staples has an exclusive Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery collection, I admit that I was just a little bit stoked. They have everything I need to get organized in a flash!
I’m still a bit “old school” so to speak, in the fact that I still like to actually write things down on pen and paper from time to time. While most of my life is digital due to my focus on blogging and social media, I pretty much only use my online and/or digital resources surrounding work. Everything else, including my grocery lists are hand written.
I was really excited to try the Discbound notebooks from Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery. It included everything I would need such as the notebook, lined sheets of paper, protective sheets and dividers. There were even mini sheets for lists and such.
My desk area leaves a little to be desired in the organization area. Okay, that’s a fib; it’s in a horrific state. I have stuff everywhere. I even tape little sticky notes to the side of my tower to remind me of certain important things. When I saw the press release for the Wall Manager system from Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery, I thought they might have had me in mind when they were creating it.
The line includes everything you would need to manage basically any size wall area in your house. There are Accessory Boards, Magnetic Dry Erase and Cork Boards, Storage Caddies, Document Inbox, Shelves and Shelf Boxes, Drawer Set and Clips and Hooks. They’re all sold separately, so you’re not stuck with a whole kit of things you might not use. Though trust me, if you’re like me, you would find a use for the entire line!
I received an Accessory Board, Cork Board, some drawers and hooks, a great solution for organizing my desk area.
Installation is super easy and you don’t even need a man to help you! It comes with nails and a built in level so the only thing that you need is a hammer. You can organize the pieces in a number of different ways to fit virtually any space that is around a foot in diameter.
I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t had the time to completely organize. I didn’t get a chance to install my system completely yet, but I’m excited to get that done by the weekend!
