I am a rules and instruction following kind of girl so of course I read the instructions and opened it just the way they described. I thought it might be tricky but it was actually easier to use than I thought it would be.
My main concern upon looking at it was, won’t my cards just fall right out? The simple answer is no, that stretchy band is super tight. There is zero slippage on this little wallet. The aluminum gives it a very sleek and polished look to it. The aluminum plates actually shield your credit and debit cards from the RFID skimming rays. Scary I know but crime rates in my area are rising and with it the criminals are getting more creative in getting people’s personal information. I like that just by using the wallet day to day I am doing what I can to try and protect my information.
I really like that you can customize and add plates to your purchase so the wallet works best for your needs. I would absolutely love an Orange strap to go on my wallet to make it my college colors. Then I could tote it to football games in my pocket and it would be quite stylish.
This is the HuMn wallet on top of my standard wallet that I am always toting around in my diaper bag. Much more compact and it fit every card and lack of dollar bills that I had in the giant wallet but in a much more efficient way.
Now I know what you might be thinking…that wallets are really for guys. False. When I get a rare night out with friends or the husband I get excited because I don’t have to tote a giant diaper bag around with me! This wallet fit in my very small purse with plenty of room to spare for my plethora of woman things I stuff in there.
On the rare and fun times that I am off to a club or bar with friends the last thing I want to tote around is a purse. This is where I really like the HuMn wallet. It easily held my credit cards, ID and some cash and it comfortably slid into my pants pocket. Super easy and I did not have to worry about keeping track of a purse all night long.
I think this wallet is extremely unique and well designed. I could see how a man would like an extra plate in one and use this as his main wallet. I enjoy seeing a company take an idea like the wallet and turn it into something ever better like the HuMn wallet.
