Holy Shmoly – I am speechless. Could it be because my mouth is full of the most delicious chocolate covered strawberry? You guessed it! After a very, very long day at work and an even longer evening teaching my class at University (accounting class at night – not my idea of a fun evening!), I was exhausted. I walked in and on my counter was a Fannie May Berries box. Of course I knew what was inside and tore it open at once.
Was I prepared for what was inside……absolutely not. First, the box was packed to protect the precious items (yes, chocolate is precious to me!) and included an ice pack to keep it from spoiling. Well, the Mint Meltaway Berries was the first winner! I would never have thought to put Mint and Strawberries together, but oh my word – what a wonderful delight. The chocolate is so yummy, creamy and melts in your mouth. The strawberry was perfectly ripe and sweet.
The next winner was (well besides me, since I got to eat it!) the Pixie Berries. I adore milk chocolate, caramel and pecans, add Strawberry and WOW! Again, another combination I would not have put together. This one was my favorite.
Last, but for sure, not least, was the Trinidad Berries. One of my favorite chocolates are coconut haystacks. The Trinidad Berries remind me of coconut haystacks meets Strawberries for a delicious stroll down Tastebud Lane. This is a winner too!
