You may want to wear rubber gloves at this point. Mix 1 part water with 1 part glue. You can add glitter paint if you want too.
Dip the black thread in the glue mixture and using your fingers run them over the thread squeezing out the excess.
Then lay out the thread along the lines of your stencil on the wax paper. Let dry.

For The Spider
Tools Needed:
- Black Yarn (I used plastic canvas yarn, but any black yarn will work)
- Googly Eyes
- Pipe Cleaners
- Rubber Band
- Circular Object
- Glue Gun
I used a duct tape roll for my object to make the body, but the trick is to find any even round object, as large around as you would like your spider to be. I want mine big and goofy, so I started with a pretty large object.
Start by taping a bit of the starting strand of yarn to the inside of the roll, then just keep rolling your yarn around and around till you reach the desired size.
Using your glue mix, paint the entire outside of the roll of yarn and the side where the original strand is taped. When dry, cut the taped strand and very carefully remove the yarn from the roll.
Wrap the rubber band around a third of the yarn, to form the head. Cut the pipe cleaner in quarters slip two though the rubber band on each side and form legs. Glue on googly eyes and then glue on to web.
Use mounting tape to secure to door.
