We are huge Marvel fans in this household. Amongst all the super heroes, Iron Man is most definitely in my son’s top five favorite of all time. He can even tell you who Iron Man really is (Tony Stark!) and would just love to show you how he fights. When the chance to review volume 2 of the second season of the new animated Iron Man: Armored Adventures was offered, I didn’t know anybody better suited than my little Sonshine!
Iron Man: Armored Adventures is a 3D CGI animated series, based off the original Marvel character, that depicts Tony Stark aka Iron Man, as a sixteen year old kid living the life of your normal teenager and super hero. With the help of his two best friends, Pepper Potts and James “Rhodey” Rhodes, Tony suits up to clash with the likes of Doctor Doom who has his sights set on the technology used to make the Iron Man suit. In this short, although action packed volume 2, Iron Man must also match strength and wits against Titanium Man and Iron Monger while helping innocent bystanders. A first time run in with Hawk Eye and the Black Widow leaves Tony stumped as to whether they are allies or foes, but he refuses to be deceived and follows the couple just in time to help them out!

Season 2 is a full 26 episodes long, so you’ll have to keep an eye out on volumes 3 and 4 later this year/next year. Will Tony ever find the stolen Iron Man technology? Can he keep Stark Enterprises out of the wrong hands? Are there any better friends than Pepper and Rhodey?
