It all started with a girls? night out? one that contained more than the usual laughter and fun. Browsing for the first time through a Martini menu, Lolita was inspired by the recipes. After being served a Cosmopolitan, her creative imagination made her see the glass differently ? the way she thought it should be ? a bit more dressed up with a pattern, with flair and a fabulous recipe on the bottom.
It’s been a sound I haven’t heard in almost nine months. And no, not due to pregnancy, but thanks to those long, cold winter months; The sound of a blender. The gentle roar of a long lost friend, shelved, but never forgotten. Now that spring is here, it’s time to start pulling them from the cupboard, giving them a good scrub and getting them ready for my favorite season, Margarita Season!
With Designs by Lolita, I am going to enjoy this margarita season in style with my Strawberry Fields Margarita Glass. Lolita was started after a particularly fun ‘girl’s night out’ when the founder realized all her friends chose different martinis, all suited to their different personalities. It’s been a long running joke between a few good friends of mine, how much I love tequila. (I even have a very cool, old wooden vintage ‘tequila’ sign!)
I just love how pretty these 12 oz. glasses are. You can tell each glass is painted with an attention to detail, right down to each individual seed of every strawberry.
